Educational Data Mining in relation to Educational Statistics of Nepal
This is the final presentation done at the Institute of Engineering Pulchowk Engineering Campus. We have applied data mining techniques like Regression Analysis, Clustering, to find the problems in education of Nepal. We had collaborated with Depart of Education of Nepal for Data. We came up with a suggestive term called "Educational Development Index" to find the relative development status of a district.

It aims to achieve predetermined objectives through optimal use of resources and involves making decisions for future action. Educational plans can be long-term (10-25 years), medium-term (4-5 years), or short-term. Planning can also be physical, economic, allocative, or have single or multiple objectives. Educational planning coordinates different parts of an educational system and ensures goals like universal primary education are approached objectively by realistically assessing available resources.

This MA organizational change project was sponsored by the Alberta Health Services (AHS), Strategic Clinical Network, Health Technology Assessment and Adoption (SCN, HTAA) team. This research project's overarching question was on how can health technology assessment be used effectively in clinical care pathways and clinical practice guideline development.
Findings: Health technology assessment (HTA) creates a common language among health care providers to improve engagement and patient centred care. Optimization of health technology assessment involves the development of relationships, education, and simple technological tools to create a culture of HTA acceptance.

Peter Onchuru Mokaya has over 10 years of experience in project management, research, and teaching. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Health Economics and Policy at the University of Nairobi. He has managed several projects focused on youth empowerment, education, health, and sanitation in Kenya. These include the Mtaani Initiative, Advanced Learning Outcomes for Transformation Change Project, and KUZA Project. He also teaches part-time at the university level and has worked in research and quality assurance roles.
Conducting High Impact Research: Building data ownership and improving data use
This document discusses how to improve data-informed decision making through strengthening the research process. It describes how involving stakeholders throughout can increase data ownership and use. As an example, it outlines research conducted in Madagascar that found providing injectable contraception through community workers was safe, acceptable and feasible. The research process was enhanced by identifying target data users, forming a steering committee, ensuring stakeholder involvement in data collection, and developing recommendations and a communication plan to increase data interpretation and use. This strengthened process led to improved health programs through greater ownership and understanding of the data.
