Heather Kimble lives in Fulton, Illinois with her 3-year-old daughter Abigail, who she considers the love of her life. She is also in a relationship with a man who treats Abigail and herself well. Kimble works as a manager and server at an Applebee's restaurant, where many of her friends also work. Family is very important to her and she remains close with her mother, sister, grandmother, and best friends of over 10 years. In her free time, Kimble enjoys reading, writing, music, movies, nature walks and travel. Her goals are to pass her course with a high grade, finish her degree to become a middle school teacher, and find joy,

2. Who Am I?
• I live in Fulton, Illinois currently, which is just across the bridge from Clinton, Iowa where I have pretty much
always lived…and where Ashford campus is actually located
• I have a daughter named Abigail, who has made me realize that I did not need to search for the love of my life as I
brought the love of my life into this world…she is almost 3 years old and very vibrant! I don’t even know what I
ever did with myself before she was born!
• We are lucky enough to have a wonderful man in our lives who treats Abi as she deserves…and her mommy too 
I am grateful everyday that we found him and that we have a loving family to get us through it all…I am a lucky
woman! I hope to be lucky enough to keep him as he would be a prize for anyone and I cherish all that we
have…he has taught me even more that it does not take blood for someone to be a loving parent to a child…she
may not call him dad but she knows he is there and she is a lucky little lady as he is a lucky man…he does have us
after all ;)
• I am a manager/server/bartender at the Applebees in Clinton and many of my friends are also Applebuddies…in
this I am also lucky!
• Family is important to me…I keep close with my mom and sister as it was just us girls as I grew up…and my
grandma too and I try to remain as close to all of my other relatives as my busy schedule allows.
• I also attempt to remain close to my best friends whom I have been lucky enough to know and have in my life for
over 10 years now…they are like family to me…they are pictured on slide 5 along with my family
• I am messy, erratic, sarcastic, unique and love to laugh…loving life and can’t wait to finish my degree and begin my
career!
• Also, did I mention that I love to read, watch movies, listen to music and go for walks? Well I do especially when I
am doing any of those with my loves, friends or family!
• I have been to London and Paris and cannot wait to go back and see it all again and then see more of Europe…the
Eiffel tower is just one of the many beautiful architectural wonders to behold
• P.S. I am very proud of having lost 30+ pounds over the last 6 months(Still have my mom belly but its smaller lol)

• To pass this course with a B or higher and to
get on the Dean’s list again
• To finish my degree and to become a good
teacher
• I am undecided between science and
computers and even english but I do know
that I wish to teach middle school
• Joy and love and laughter and satisfaction

8. Those who know me…
• Those who know me best would probably describe me as….a good
mother, sensitive, stubborn, sort of selfish, messy, strong, weirdo,
funny, forgetful, loving, compassionate, giggle, goofy, gives a good
stank eye, weakness for the sweets and who knows what else!
Those who know me best watch me grow and change and learn
new things about me all the time and visa versa…it’s a beautiful
thing!! I spent over 2 years unhappy and struggling to find hope
outside my beautiful little girl and I learned a lot and it helped to
shape me…my theory is pretty cliché but true…sing like no one is
listening, dance like nobody is watching and love like you have
never been hurt…just enjoy the moments!
