- 3 Issues Students need to know how they’re doing compared to state standards and which areas they need to improve in Parents want to know how their student is doing Current online testing depends on teachers to administer the diagnostic tests for them and are not designed for self directed use by children Parents have trouble knowing why their children don’t understand the material Parents may not have enough resources to produce material and assessments to effectively test kids Homeschooled kids have no idea if they are on par with public schools and have trouble reintegrating Yizhou will present Identify 3 issues that are at the core of the problem/need/pain; State them as 3 short bullets (no sentences; phrases)

- Solution of 1 issue + Screen Mock UP Annelise Create a mock up of the screen that addresses the issue in slide 3. The mock up doesn’t have to be beautiful; just good enough to give a CLEAR sense of how your app will address the issue in slide 3.
- Competition Daniel Who else is dealing with the same sort of issues? Make a “feature comparison matrix chart.” See below. Where “product x” are the names of other apps that “do the same thing” – or something similar.
- Weekly Goals Time Line Annelise Fill out the attached “weekly project goals” spreadsheet. Include a screenshot of the spreadsheet in your preso. NOTE: you can’t say the same goal week after week; also you can say EVERY team member is working on the same goal – each team member is work on his/her own goal!
- Your Vision Soroosh Repeat the one sentence pitch – as a summary. You will be practicing your one sentence pitch on Monday, 5/11. (see the references below) This slide should have ONE SENTENCE on it. ONE SENTENCE. Get it? How many sentences on the last slide?
