Edinburgh
Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland, located on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth. It has a population of over 480,000 people, making it the second most populous city in Scotland and seventh in the UK. Edinburgh is home to many important national institutions and has a long history as a center of education, particularly in fields like medicine, law, science, and engineering. The city also hosts the large annual Edinburgh International Festival.

- 2. Edinburgh is thecapital of Scotland, situated in Lothian on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth. It is the second most populous city in Scotland and the seventh most populous in the United Kingdom. The population in 2012 was 482,640.Edinburgh has been recognised as the capital of Scotland since at least the 15th century, but political power moved south to London after the Union of the Crowns in 1603 and the Union of Parliaments in 1707. After nearly three centuries of unitary government, a measure of self-government returned in the shape of the devolved Scottish Parliament, which officially opened in Edinburgh in 1999.

Our travelling isover… Before this project, we had not had so much information about Edinburgh from school programme.Learning the history,architecture,economy, culture and traditions of this city we enriched our knowledge and got much pleasure bytravelling along it’s streets. We hope our project will be interesting and useful to you too.
