In the age of darkness light plays an important role in terms of keeping the human race motivated for the good. Projection mapping has been around for some time now. There is hardware, software and possibilities might seem limitless. How about the aspiring artist or an institution with limited funding for anything, anyone who wants to play with projection mapping? One does not want to leave her computer in a space for a month or more. An institution might not have resources to purchase hardware and software.
OfxPiMapper is an addon for the openFrameworks creative coding toolkit that lets one use the Raspberry Pi mini-computer for serious projection mapping projects. It is open source and available on GitHub. It can not only map videos and images, but can map anything openFrameworks is capable of, which includes data driven visuals, interactive motion graphics or generative 3D scenes.

2012 learning from_future_presentation
The ability to deal with and learn in the face of uncertainty is a key capability of organizations in dynamic environments. Scenarios based on normativity, performativity and transparency foster organisational learning, allow preparing for alternative developments and working out preferred options. This paper builds on previous research on the analysis respectively modeling of future scenarios in the telecommunication industry. We introduce and exemplify a qualitative method of collaborative modeling. It combines the development of a normative vision with a grounded innovation approach to generate, aggregate and qualify insights in order to develop exploratory scenarios based on key uncertainty factors. At least as important as the resulting scenarios is the learning experience of the participants. We elaborate upon the process oriented implications and tools of scenario modeling as a learning activity.

In Outside-In (London school, top-down or "mockist TDD") you build the system from the "outside-in", following the user interaction through all the parts of the system. You start with the interactions and collaborators upfront (especially those at top levels), mocking necessary dependencies (or creating fake implementations). With every finished component, you move to the previously mocked collaborators and start with TDD again there, creating actual implementations (which, even though used, were not needed before thanks to abstractions).

Coding Dojo: Asynchronous Clock-In (2016)
Peter Kofler presented an asynchronous coding dojo on building a clock-in application. The goal was to build a client interface that allows punching in and out with optional GPS data, with asynchronous calls to a backend server. Kofler emphasized focusing on doing the coding challenge correctly rather than just getting it done. Participants were instructed to work in pairs, add testing, and start with a simple asynchronous backend mock to practice asynchronous language features like promises.
Mob Programming (2016)

The introduction of DLAU and the CCB & CCX licensing model caused quite a stir in the HCL community. As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible.
