The song "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" is about a white guy who tries to act cool and fit in with urban black kids who use slang like "pretty fly." However, he just makes a fool of himself and doesn't really succeed because he's not genuinely part of that culture. The song uses this scenario as a metaphor to critique people who want to seem cool but are really just inauthentic "wannabes."
This document summarizes some key differences between original versions of classic children's tales and their modern adaptations. In the original Cinderella, the stepsisters cut off their toes to fit in the glass slipper. Snow White's stepmother tries to kill her three times, and is punished by dancing in red-hot iron shoes. The Little Mermaid feels constant pain from her legs and dissolves into sea foam after the prince marries another. Sleeping Beauty has two children with the noble before waking, and his wife has them killed upon discovering his infidelity. In Rapunzel, the witch locks Rapunzel in a tower that can only be accessed by her hair.

English music has its origins in folk music, with songs from the Middle Ages still being popular today. In medieval times, choral music was most popular. This document discusses replacing traditional ATMs that use magnetic cards and PINs with an ATM that uses iris recognition for identity verification. It notes that current ATMs create environmental waste from paper cards and envelopes and have security issues from stolen cards and PIN cracking. An iris recognition-based ATM would scan the user's iris and match it to a stored iris code, verifying the user only if a match is found. The iris pattern is highly unique and iris recognition has a very low misidentification rate compared to other biometric methods. An iris-scanning ATM would provide more secure identity verification and transactions without generating paper waste.
This document proposes an ATM system that uses facial recognition instead of cards and PINs for verification. It would work by having a camera installed on the ATM that takes a photo of the customer's face and compares it to an image stored in the bank's database associated with the account. This would provide increased security by matching a live photo to the stored image without needing a card or PIN. The document outlines the components, techniques, process and potential benefits of such a biometric-based ATM system for more reliable authentication.
We have been using storytelling to share our thoughts and feelings ever since flat screen televisions meant clay tablets and cave walls. Stories move us; they inspire us. And that is why your 110th presentation should not just include data. Because data might persuade people to consider your idea for a while, but it won’t inspire them to act; to do that, you need to drape your vision in a story that makes your audience think: “Hey! I can picture myself in his shoes!” Your story should fire their imagination and make them come alive- because a story has a key to that special place where mundane quantitative data is denied entry: our hearts.
