Edward Osei is a third year senior high school student in Ghana studying general arts despite being more interested in the sciences. He chose general arts based on a relative's advice about job prospects, but has little interest in his current course. Edward believes that if he had access to a career awareness program, he would have chosen a different path aligned with his interests. The document calls for support of a campaign to implement early career awareness programs in Ghanaian schools to help students identify their career interests and pursue relevant courses to become productive.
