This document presents a mathematical model for the secretion of oxytocin in breastfeeding women post-delivery, comparing cases of vaginal delivery (VD) and caesarean section (CS). It indicates that oxytocin release is influenced by labor and immediate postpartum interactions, affecting maternal behaviors and the lactation period. The findings suggest that CS mothers may experience lower oxytocin patterns due to the absence of critical early labor stimuli, impacting breastfeeding and maternal psychological adaptations.
