This document provides information on Unitherm's Series 2256/2266 High Temperature Maintenance self-regulating electric traced tubing. The tubing is designed for applications requiring freeze protection, viscosity maintenance, or condensation prevention where the line needs to be cleaned or purged using steam. It consists of stainless steel process tubing, a self-regulating heating element, heat-reflecting foil wrap, insulation, and a protective jacket. The heating element allows the tubing to withstand temperatures up to 366°F, allowing steam purging at 150 psig. The document lists standard product specifications and technical information on electrical specifications, temperature ratings, and sizing.
An automatic self-cleaning strainer, such as the MCS 500 from Eaton proves uninterrupted operation without a duplex configuration or regular manual cleaning. It's form is essentially a housed strainer with a built-in scraper blade that moves along the inlet surface of the strainer media, moving accumulated solids to a collection chamber at the bottom of the pressure housing.
The universal paddle level limit switch FTE 30 is used as a full, empty and demand alarm on silos containing solids. Email: lam.nguyen@vietan-enviro.com HP: 0945 293292
The Ashcroft® NPI indicating pressure switch was designed to satisfy challenging applications needing high cycle rates with switch functionality. The Ashcroft® NPA watertight pressure switch was designed to satisfy challenging applications needing high cycle rates with switch functionality
Hazardous Area Isolators
ATEX Isolators - Zone 22 Category 3D Isolators
Craig & Derricott ATEX certified isolators and switch disconnectors for hazardous area Group II, Zone 22, Cat 3D Non-Conductive Dusts - typical installation areas include grain mills, textiles, cargo handling, powder coating plant, chemicals, woodworking and waste processing.
From July 2006 the onus was placed upon companies to ensure that all electrical equipment within their site organisation is suitable for the environment in which it is being used - this was aimed particularly at hazardous areas where there may be a possibility of a combustible atmosphere being present, even for short periods i.e. less than 10 hours/year.
People normally think of such atmospheres as being gases, mists or vapours - however there are various industries where a conductive or non-conductive dust mixed with air in the right proportion can become explosive.
There are different degrees of protection against explosive dusts and hazardous area Zone 22 is defined as : - "a place in which an explosive atmosphere, in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air, is not likely to occur in normal operation but, if it does occur, will persist for a short period only".
ATEX Directive 94/9/EC sets out the route electrical equipment manufacturers must take to get their products certified for use in hazardous areas.
ATEX Certified Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas
ATEX is the name given to a set of European Directives relating to Hazardous Area Electrical Equipment Installations (Flammable Atmospheres) to avoid industrial accident or incident. ATEX Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95), is a directive adopted by the EU under the “New Approach” strategy. The “New Approach” ATEX directive supersedes the “Old Approach” ATEX Directive, the Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Directive, 76/117/EEC – ATEX 94/9/EC (ATEX 95) facilitates free trade in the EC for hazardous area electrical equipment intended to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres. ATEX Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95) covers “Electrical Equipment” used in hazardous areas with potentially explosive atmospheres created by presence of gases, vapours, mists or dusts.

Straight and right angled bushing boots from stock suit switchgear and transformer bushings - bushing boots provide high voltage electrical insulation, preventing flashover caused by moisture ingress, industrial contamination, high humidity and rodents.
High Voltage 33kV Bushing Boots (RABK/STBK)
The high voltage bushing diameters on a 33kV switchgear or transformer system are normally in excess of 100mm in diameter so a standard boot is unsuitable. 33kV insulating boots are ex stock.
SPECTITE sealed feedthroughs are used when probes, sensors, electrodes, wires and other types of static elements need to be sealed as they pass through a pressure, vacuum or environmental boundary.
Heat shrink cable joints to suit PVC, EPR (BS6883) and XLPE (BS5467) multi-core cables up to 3.3kV - the heat shrink cable joint comprises of adhesive lined connector insulation tubes, heavy duty steel wire armour earth cage, armour support rings and clamps and an outer thick wall adhesive lined heat shrink tube.
SPS Heat Shrink Cable Joints & Cable Terminations - Quality Performance Testing : Shrink Polymer Systems heat shrink cable joints and cable termination kits are tested to BS7888 which incorporates Cenelec Standards HD 628 S1 and 629.1 S2 : 2006, DIN VDE0279 and IEC60502.

Switch Disconnectors (Isolators) provide the means to safely disconnect or isolate an item of electrical equipment from the power supply - primarily designed to provide a means of local isolation when an elecrical item may need maintenance or repair. Switch Disconnectors also i) provide an effective clearance between the supply and the electrical load appropriate to the voltage applied, ii) provide a means of "locking off" (padlocking), iii) provide true indication of contact state, iv) provide a safe electrical disconnection from the power supply even under fault conditions.

High Temperature Maintenance Self-Regulating
Electric Traced Tubing
DEKORON®
/Unitherm™
Series 2256/2266 High Temperature
Maintenance (HTM) Self-Regulating Electric Traced Tubing is
a thermally insulated fluid transport line for use in applica-
tions requiring freeze protection, viscosity maintenance, or
condensation prevention, where the line may be cleaned or
purged using steam or hot gasses. Each line is comprised of
the following elements:
• Single or multiple process tube(s)
• High temperature, self-regulating heating
element with tinned-copper braid
• Heat-reflecting foil wrap
• Moisture-resistant, non-wicking,
inorganic fibrous glass thermal insulation
• Choice of weather protective jacket
The energy-efficient design provides for temperature maintenance
of up to 100ºF (38ºC) at -40ºF (-40ºC) ambient. The standard prod-
uct is available with a 5 watt per foot, 120 VAC or 240 VAC self-
regulating heating element. The heating element will withstand
exposure to temperatures of up to 366ºF (185ºC) allowing the
process tubes to be steam purged with 150 psig saturated steam.
Bundles in this Series are FM Approved for use in Class I Division
2, Group B, C, and D; Class II Division 2, Group F, and G; and
Class III, Division 2 Hazardous areas. Optional power and con-
trol wires can be supplied in FM Approved bundles. The Self-
Regulating Heating Element is approved by CSA for pipe and ves-
sel tracing applications under designations 3A, 3B, 3C, 5A and 5B
in Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations.
Additional features of this product are:
• Pre-insulated and pre-fabricated for installation
costs up to 40% lower than field fabrication.
• Pre-engineered for reduced design cost and
predictable operational characteristics
• Bundles can contain integral power and signal
wires that are pre-approved for use in
hazardous locations.
• Bundles are lightweight and easy to bend
• Smaller OD than field fabricated lines means
better use of mounting space.
• Maintenance-free – no open seams, no gaps
in insulation.
• Consistent and predictable thermal
characteristics
Applications for this product:
• Analyzer and instrument lines
• Small diameter process lines
• Impulse lines
