This document summarizes research evaluating the effectiveness of offering food samples ("testers") at attracting visitors to exhibition stalls. Observations were made at two stalls - a meat stall in the food court and a soap stall in the main hall. The meat stall attracted more visitors at 12pm and 1pm, while the soap stall had more at 2pm and 3pm. Overall, stalls offering interactions like testers attracted more visitors than decorative displays. The results suggest testers are an effective way to draw customers to stalls.
