making other people’s lives beautiful.
For these people, we are simply nameless folks
who work hard to create these beautiful products
such as the shirts, shoes, etc.
But do you know that you can do a lot more for
the society other than simply creating stuff?
Yes, you can contribute towards making a life live
longer.
4. THE SOCIAL SCENERIO
• 500,000 people die because of non-availability of
organs.
• 200,000 people die of liver disease.
• 50,000 people die from heart disease.
• 150,000 people await a kidney transplant but only
5,000 get one.
• 1,000,000 lakh people suffer from corneal blindness
and await transplant.
• Wait for a matching donor can be as long as 10 years
or more at times.
5. THE SOCIAL SCENERIO
• There is a huge gap between the number of organs
required and the organs available. e.g. In 2017, 2 lakh
people awaited kidney transplant but only 10,000 got
one. Like wise, 2 lakh awaited liver transplant but only
708 got it.
• In 2018, the rate of organ donation in India stood at 0.8
per million population as compared to a country like
Spain which has 46.9 per million population.
• The grim story behind these depressing statistics is
that mostly people lack awareness about the process
of Organ Donation.
• One deceased donor can save upto 8 lives.
• And a healthy living donor can donate a kidney, part of
a liver, lung, intestine, blood or bone marrow.
7. ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Our aim is to reach out to the youths of the country to pledge organ
donation and ‘LIVE’ a mark in the lives of the organ receivers.

10. WHY COLLEGE STUDENTS?
• Students of colleges are more rationale with their thinking
and decision making.
• At the same time, most students are helpful by nature and
always keen to do something for the society.
• Students are easily affected by the happenings around us.
• The students constitute the backbone of a nation as well as
the pillar on which the national edifice is built.
• Students play a vital role in the society. They are the
guardians of freedom, justice, equality, ethics and social
equilibrium.
• The students are the hope of tomorrow and the beacon of
future for a nation.
12. CHALLENGES
• Busting myths about organ donation.
• Removing the stigma and superstitions
attached to organ donation.
13. WAY FORWARD
• We tie up with a brand to reach out to these students through
College Contact Programme.
• We partner with a hospital chain which will be actively involved in
the process of organ donation.
• We set up a dedicated website for registration of organ donors.
14. ACTIVITY
• Taking our activity title ‘Give To Live’ ahead, we have a
real living donor present his story in front of students.
• The donor also tells stories about those deceased
donors who continue to live in the body of their organ
receivers and urge students to ‘Give To Live’ by
pledging their organs.
• We also play team building games with the students
that depict how staying together and helping each
other makes you fill with pride.
• Along with the product sampling, we give them the
details and procedure of registration for organ
donation.
15. SUGGESTED TEAM BUILDING GAMES
• BLIND RETRIEVER - Split your staff into small
teams, blindfolding one person on each team.
The first team that can successfully direct their
blindfolded colleague to a hidden object wins
• JIGSAW PUZZLE PIECES - Give different teams
plastic bags with puzzle pieces. However the
teams unknown to them, they’ll end up having
to partner with other teams to complete the
puzzle.
• SCAVENGER HUNT – Teams are asked to come
up with maximum number of certain items from
the pockets, wallets or bags. E.g. coins or
kerchiefs and the team with the maximum
number is the winner.
16. POST ACTIVITY
• Through the medium of social media, we
encourage the students to further
promote the idea of ‘Give To Live’ among
their social groups, families and friends.
• Live updates on the decided website and
social media pages about organ donors
and recipients.
18. GAIN FOR BRAND
• The ‘Give To Live’ campaign is a good
opportunity to leverage brand recall.
• It’s an ideal campaign to garner media
stories.
• ‘Give To Live’ campaign is also an ideal
