2. About Children's Aid Tanzania
Children's Aid - Tanzania is an not-for-profit organization duly registered in
the United Republic of Tanzania. It has been operating since November,
2006 with offices in Moshi, Tanzania.
Vision
Children’s Aid Tanzania shall support children's education and provide
minor illness treatments and preventative healthcare services to the
children of Tanzania through locally situated schools, clinics and
hospitals.
Mission
Children’s Aid Tanzania, shall provide education and training that will
enable children to become gainfully employed and/or entrepreneurs
that would help to increase their quality of life and standard of living
while increasing the economic development of their communities.

3. Orphanages & Schools Tanzania
The Children’s Aid Center Kilimanjaro Orphanage School was founded by
Mr. Lazaro Edward in 2009.
The Orphanage
The Orphanage currently has 60 orphans from the ages of 3 to 17
yrs. Ten of these orphans have single parents. The Orphanage also runs
a Day Care Center.
The Children's Foundation
The Foundation currently has 180 children from the ages of 3 to 7
yrs. There are 7 teachers at the kindergarten.

4. Kibosho Hospital
Kibosho Hospital is in Moshi Rural. The Hospital started as a dispensary
in the year 1929. At the beginning it was consisted of one building with
7 rooms and a few mud huts thatched with grass.
There is a maternity clinic, isolation wards. Later they built a building
that lodges the seven offices for doctors, administrative offices,
pharmacy, secretarial offices, Physiotherapy room, and OPD waiting
place.
The laboratory, x-ray department, Medical records and reception was
erected between 1924 and 1929.

5. Pasua Health Center
Pasua Health Center started as a dispensary in 1969 and in 1989 it
became a health Centre.
There are five departments:
• Out Patient Department O.P.D.
• Reproductive Child Health R.C.H.
• Labour and delivery
• HIV counseling and testing
• General wards
They have 80-120 patients and 3-5 deliveries every day.

6. St. Joseph Hospital
St. Joseph Hospital is funded by the Catholic Church and
Government. It was founded in 2001 and since then, the hospital has
been expanding continuously. The wards in the hospital are; female,
male, pediatric, and an out-patient ward. There is also an operating
theater and laboratory.
