The domestic organized pharmaceutical retail market in India crossed Rs. 90,000 crore for the first time in cumulative sales in June 2015, driven by growth in anti-diabetic, dermatology, and urology drugs. In July 2015, the market saw a robust 13% growth over July 2014. The market grew from Rs. 66,000 crore to Rs. 80,000 crore over two years but crossed Rs. 90,000 crore more quickly.
