Docker on mesos
This document discusses using Docker containers with the Mesos cluster manager. Mesos provides a uniform computing platform and reduces costs by allowing containers to be run across a cluster of machines. Using Docker with Mesos allows containers to be horizontally scaled across the cluster while still being able to run other workloads. Service discovery when using Docker on Mesos is still evolving, with solutions based on DNS and Mesos events.
