This document discusses how Docker can be used to solve the "it works on my machine" problem by creating isolated environments for developers. It provides a sample Python code demonstrating running code with and without Docker. When run without Docker, the code fails due to a mismatch in Python and library versions, but runs successfully when built and run within a Docker container using Dockerfile instructions. This allows developers to ensure their code runs the same regardless of their local environment configurations.
