Divyaang Myithri Sports Academy is a non-profit organization formed in May 2016 with the pious intention of uplifting para-sports in India. We are devoted to working to encourage differently-abled persons to take-up sports and help the qualified para-athletes to achieve their goals by providing specialized training, infrastructure, and equipment and assist them financially to participate in national and international events.
We are currently operating out of Bengaluru and we aim at providing the best possible platform for para-athletes from all over the country. Team DMSA consists entirely of differently-abled people who are doing outstanding in various fields of our society.

represented Karnataka
team in wheelchair
Basketball and contributes
to PR and Volunteers
Management for Divyaang
Myithri Sports Academy.
Ashwin Karthik plays an
important role as a Mentor.
First Engineer with Cerebral
palsy working with ANZ and a
National Award winner. He
mentors teams in the execution
of big projects and with his
immense knowledge in cricket
provides key suggestions for the
team in strategy and selection.
Dr. Rajalakshmi SJ, the Brand
Ambassador for DMSA, is

World 2017, Ambassador of
Miss Wheelchair World in
India, 3 times national
awards winner, proprietor of
SJ Dental specialty clinic.
4. OUR ACHIEVERS
We have produced a number of international and national
para-athletes since our inception from 2016. Some of them
are:
• Shiva Prasad is the Vice-Captain of the Indian
wheelchair cricket team.
• Piyush Sharma is a national level para table
tennis player.
• Sagar Gowda, Tippeswamy and Hareesh Kumar
are part of the Indian wheelchair cricket team.
• Vamsidhar Ratakonda is a self-made cricketer
currently the bowling coach for India
wheelchair cricket team.
• Madhu Sudan is the youngest player to
represent India in wheelchair tennis at the age
of 18 years, participating in the Bangkok Cup in
2015 and participated in many international
tennis tournaments.
5. OUR WORK SO FAR
Over the past our NGO has achieved several remarkable milestones:
• We organized a national wheelchair cricket tournament in association with UP, Haryana and
Punjab wheelchair cricket associations for the first time in India comprising 12 teams from 4
different zones. DMSA also organized South Wheelchair Cricket League in Bangalore from
02nd to 04th Feb 2018.
• South Zone wheelchair cricket coaching camp in Mysore, where more than 120+ differently
-abled participated and instrumental in formation of Kerala and Tamilnadu state teams.
• Within two years produce Four Indian Wheelchair cricket players Shiva Prasad (Vice-
captain of India) and Tippeswamy, Sagar and Hareesh Kumar.
• DMSA continuously takes part in various events like wheelchair marathons, wheelchair
basketball tournaments, wheelchair tennis tournaments held for the people with
disabilities. Our players are doing well in various sports not just at the national but also at
international levels representing the country.
• The invention of Wheelchair Kabbadi.

Organizing The Karnataka Wheelchair Cricket Premier League.
Accessible Gym for all (Wheelchair Friendly one of its kind).
Continuous support to Karnataka Wheelchair Cricket.
Coaching camp and regular practice for Wheelchair Basketball at Jayanagar
facility.
Working on building sports infra for Special abled in Mysore.
South zone wheelchair Basketball tournament.
Amateur wheelchair tennis tournament for non ranked players in Karnataka.
First-ever Wheelchair Kabbadi Tournament.
