Jacqueline Rush Lee is an Anglo-Irish sculptor who creates book art sculptures by physically transforming books. She reconfigures books into new forms to give them new narratives. Lee is interested in the book as both a physical object and carrier of meaning. By altering their physical forms through techniques like burning and stitching, she suggests ideas of memory, transformation and the passage of time. Lee's works uncover the books' essence and give discarded books new life through rebirth into new structures.

In this paper and presentation we will share how Delft University of Technology tried to tackle this challenge to experiment with experiments leading to revenue generation while at the same time upholding its open policy.
