Organisations interested in benefiting from a product line and product platform approach must adopt values and organisational principles that encourage the development of deep domain expertise. This includes a deep understanding of the forces that continuously change the environment of the product line. These forces can then be harnessed as part of the architectural foundation for the product line.
The pervasive digitisation of services and the desire to create and operate platforms that can support large digital service ecosystems that include many organisations, have put the spotlight on design principles for product lines, product platforms, and related organisational structures.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
Accelerate your Kubernetes clusters with Varnish CachingThijs Feryn

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

7. Refined and improved product Feedback : More uses for the compartments Solution : New concept of customized compartments which suit the different needs of users
8. Refined and improved product Feedback : What’s the need of our product? Objective : 1) It’s a grab-and-go item=>Convenience 2) It’s practical and functional
9. Refined and improved product New Addition: The LEGO customization replacing the groove sliding system
10. Refined and improved product Implementation of straw system Multiple uses for our compartments Fabric stationery compartment with piping structure Lego customization

Good morning. We are Diversity, and we’re back with the multi-purpose bottle.
This week, we’ll be covering the following: our refined product based on the feedback, focus group results, market research, and our business plan.
Now, I will show you what we have refined based on last week’s feedback
Feedback was given on the difficulty in drinking from the bottle. Our solution is to implement a straw system. The new straw system will be a flip-up straw, much like those you see in your 1-litre sport coolers.(Show Sport Cooler) However, we’re adapting this to fit the narrow neck of our 500ml bottle.
Like this.
There were concerns that movement will create unnecessary noise and damage to stationery. The stationery compartment is now of a fabric material to address the issue of noise and breakage when the stationery slides around. Piping gives the compartment structure, so it will look firm and aesthetically pleasing. Our prototype today do not have the stationery compartment as there isn’t one with the specific features and dimensions in the market. But what we have are these 2 exhibits. Exhibit A shows you the fabric aspect, while exhibit B shows you the piping feature, which is the red portion.
There were also feedbacks that there can be different uses for the compartmentsAnd we have adopted the idea by having multiple attachments for our bottle based on the needs of our users. The ones you will see today are the pill compartments.
There was also a question asked on what is the need of our product. For this, we would like to refer back to our objective of it being a grab-and-go item as well as being a functional product.
A new development for this week’s product is the implementation of the LEGO customization. The bottle is square shaped, and we adapt the LEGO mechanism to attach the compartments to one side of the bottle. The bottle wall will have a LEGO base plate. Varied sizes of LEGO flat plates are used on the attachments to ensure that while the attachment can be secured well, it is also not difficult to detach as needed. As we mentioned earlier, this also injects a fun factor into our product because you essentially have a potential “play surface”, using the LEGO piece as a base plate. Thus, you can secure any combination of selected attachments to your bottle!
This basically sums up our improved product. Now I will pass the time to Tricia who will cover the market research and business plan.
Thank you Soe San.
This week, we conducted a focus group and obtained feedback and suggestions for our latest prototype.Among the feedback that we obtained, some points are:that the bottle is a good idea, the concept is interesting and new, and that it is a viable product for the market. The straw concept was also well received. There were suggestions that a cover be made over the attachments as their opinion was that the attachments stuck out weirdly, but we found that this would make the product bulky. They also pointed out that we could use Velcro instead of the LEGO customization. Their rationale for this was Velcro is waterproof and still can perform the securing function. However, we felt that Velcro is not as hygienic as plastic LEGO pieces.
We also made a trip down to a bottle manufacturer, Tong Huat Trading, to conduct market research on the feasibility of manufacturing this product.
Here are some visuals from our visit.
These are some points which we gleaned from our visit. As you can see, the figures are not particularly mind-boggling. This increases the potential feasibility of our product, should we take it to the market.
I will briefly touch on how we will conduct sales and marketing.Sales will be done through merchandisers like departmental stores, toy stores, and sports shops to ensure we effectively reach a wide audience. For marketing, we will target specific consumers and appeal to them by highlighting the relevant product features. For example, to appeal to younger school children, we highlight the “fun” factor with the LEGO aspect.Marketing avenues will be as diverse as possible. The pictures shown here illustrate some of many options we could explore. In all, this will contribute to a sustainable competitive advantage by securing consumer groups.
And that’s all for our presentation. Are there any questions or feedback?
