• Digital Marketing is the process of marketing product and services to
consumers through digital channels and electronic technologies.
• Digital channels can include the internet, mobile device, social media
platforms, webinars, search engines, online customer communities and
other digital platforms.
• The goal of digital marketing is to improve brand awareness, generate leads
increase website traffic and ultimately drive sales and business growth.

Importance of Digital Marketing
• Digital Marketing helps an organization appeal to a much larger audience
than it could through traditional marketing methods because the reach of
the internets is worldwide.
• Organization have several different online method they can use to reach out
to customers including emails, social media, mobile app, text messages,
banner advertisement or affiliate marketing.
• Social media provides a common way for individuals to interact and
communicate with organizations.

• Digital marketing was seen as a revolutionary form of marketing that
offered businesses new ideas to try to do business. Marketing activities
carried out through digital channels enabled marketers to communicate
directly with potential customers regardless of their geographic location.
• Nowadays, the Internet has opened the doors for firms to exploit
incredible digital marketing chances. By using a variety of digital
marketing channels, businesses cannot just share their products and
services online; they can also increase the number of their customers,
attract them and be able to increase their Return on Investment (ROI).

Introduction
• At present, digital marketing has a more extensive scope to grow their business in
the future because customers are much more satisfied with doing online shopping
and find digital marketing much safer than traditional marketing.

• Digital marketing is the process of marketing products or services to
potential customers via digital channels and the internet. Digital marketing
has the same goals as traditional marketing, the only difference is the
medium used to convey the marketing message.
• Digital marketing includes numerous kinds of marketing channels to do
business. These channels are very much effective for promoting products or
services and the considerably easiest way to grasp the target customers.
• Businesses leverage various digital marketing activities such as Search
Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing (SMM), Email
marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Content Creation, and more
to promote their brand to their potential consumers or to retain their
customers.
