Mobile: Session 3: How Mobility Supercharges CRM AdoptionSugarCRM
Mobile devices are changing the way people live and work. Meanwhile, CRM still suffers issues with adoption. With a little planning and the right tools, mobility can offer you a path to faster and more widespread adoption than ever before. This session will offer a view of the role mobility plays in your CRM arsenal, how to achieve strong mobile CRM adoption and how this affects adoption in the office, and the expected additional ROI that a strong mobile strategy can deliver.
With the advancing tide of social engagement sweeping through Madison Avenue, Main Street and Wall Street, there is a rise of a particularly destructive disease, Brand Blindness. Brand Blindness occurs when brand blindly leverage these low cost, broad reach platforms to drive the wrong message to the wrong audience for the wrong offering.
The brands are blind to context, blind to who we are and what it means to live our lives. Most companies have spent millions trying to create recommendation engines that tell what offer retailers should shove in our face next, predictive analytics to determine which path through the maze of offers and coupons is mostly likely to get us to buy, endless scenarios of A-B testing, all devoid of context. A-B testing does not help find C. Recommendation engines are based on what others bought not what consumers enjoy. And predictive analytics can only optimize the road most traveled.
This presentation walks through some of the symptoms of Brand Blindness and what brands can do to avoid driving their customers away.
Getting Beyond Hype: Bridging the Gap Between Social Media Strategy and Execu...10 Louder
Big Data. Influencers. Social Engagement. Content Strategy. With so many buzzwords flying around, it’s easy to get distracted by the latest shiny object. What digital communication industry needs to succeed isn’t more jargon. It needs more operational rigor. Getting Things Done is the new digital mantra.
In this session, industry veteran Brad McCormick breaks through the smoke and mirrors that accompany nearly every digital and social strategy presentation and presents four key principles of smart digital and social media execution. McCormick shows communicators how to bridge the gap between simply creating big ideas and executing them – the place where many organizations fall short. Using real-world examples, he provides solutions to simplify digital and communications plans, shows you how to adopt digital trends without getting distracted by noise, and demonstrates how to find solutions to fit in any budget.
Our attention spans have been stretched and sliced over the last few decades as more and more way to communicate have been adopted. My talk here looks at some of the measurements we have of our marketing activity and what could possibly come in the future
Mobile Apps Unlocked Vegas 2016
Wednesday, May 5
Main Stage — 10:30am - 10:50am
Mobile is, and has from its inception, been a unique digital animal. It’s been an area where organic search has played a de minimis impact on growth compared to other digital ecosystems, and yet, we all know that a growth model purely based on who spends the most is not sustainable, nor does it lead to great products. Will that change? If so, when and how? In this session we will explore these questions and more.

How to Tell if Your Marketing is Working: Metrics That Help You See Under the...Marketo
David Ogilvy once praised direct marketers for being able to measure everything about their marketing spend down to the penny. Well, today's multi-channel marketers face even more granularity with measurements like click-through rates, likes, engagement scores, time on site, and form conversions. In fact, it turns out that you can measure an awful lot about your marketing that doesn't actually tell you whether or not it's driving business results for your company. So what metrics should you look at to tell if your marketing is, in fact, "working"?
Check out this presentation to discover how you can develop a strategic approach to marketing metrics and measurement that will help you evaluate and justify your current programs in terms of impact on revenue, plus identify areas you can improve upon to boost performance and profit.
You will learn:
- How you can tell that your marketing is working efficiently
- Which metrics are worth tracking, and what they tell you
- When you should check your metrics and what you need to properly interpret them
- How to develop a strategy of continuous marketing improvement
