- 2. Vertex & Co In 2009 the UK Urban music scene was overtaken by the work of directors Vertex & Co. The main director Vertex, is a 21 year old male from Tottenham, partnered by friend Ben Leinester. The pair have been directing music video’s together since they were 17 and over the last few years have established themselves as one of the main UK Directors working with the likes of N-Dubz, Chipmunk and the Noisettes. Vertex is represented by the group Davey Inc who employ a bunch of UK Directors involved heavily in the music industry. For our Music video we are able to draw upon some of the techniques used by Vertex such as his continuous semiotics in the Chipmunk – Oops a Daisy Video.
