The Coffee, Ground Coffee in the Coffee
    Triangle this is a topographic region of
      Colombia, within its extension by the
departments of Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío,
             the northeastern region of the
    Valle del Cauca department, the entire
        region southwest of Antioquia and
                       Tolima northwestern.
Medellin is a Colombian city, capital of
 the department of Antioquia. It is located
along the Medellin River in central Aburrá
      Valley, a narrow valley of the Central
Cordillera of the Andes where also located
    nine municipalities, forming Medellin.
     3 metropolitan area has a population
       of 2,393,011 20,124 inhabitants is the
           second largest city in Colombia
The maxing of various different ethnic
     traditions is reflected in colombia’s music
    and dance. The most well-know Colombian
genres are cumbia and vallenato, the latter now
    strongly influenced by global pop caulture.
   A powerful and unifyingcultural medium in
                        Colombia is television.
Most famously, the telenovela Betty La fea has gained
international succes through localized versions in the
  uinited states, mexico, and many other continents.
Television has also payed a rolein the development of
                the local film Industry.
As in many latin american countries,
  colombians have a passion for soccer.
  The colombian national footbal team
 is a symbol of unity and national pride.
 Colombia has “exported” many famous
      players, sush as Freddy rincon,
Carlos valderrama, Iván ramiro córdoba,
          and Faustino Asprilla.

Other colombian athletes have also achuved
 success, including NASCAR’S Juan Pablo Montoya
Major league baseball’s Edgar Renteria and Orlando

Other famous colombians include the nobel prize
 winning author Gabriel Garcia Márquez, the artist
fernando botero, the writers Fernando Vallejo, Laura
    Restrepo, Alvaro Mutis and James Cañon, The
  musicians Shakira, Juanes, Carlos Vives, and Juan
  Gracia-Herreros,, and the actors Catalina Sandino
 Moreno, John Leguizamo, Catherine Siachoque and
                    Sofia Vergara.
