Dignity Kitchen is Singapore's first hawker training school for disabled and disadvantaged people, established in 2010. It aims to build and restore dignity through vocational training and job placement so trainees can have hope for a better future. The training school operates a real food court to allow the public to interact with students as customers, enhancing educational value. Creative accommodations like Braille markings, height-adjustable counters, and delivery services are provided to help trainees of different abilities. Lectures and seminars conducted by trainers have helped change the lives of many graduates. Contributions from the public through sponsorships, volunteer work, and sharing ideas can further support Dignity Kitchen's mission.
