- 2. In April 2015, the HPWD Board adopts a scope of work for the Dockum Aquifer. The tasks for this study include: § Create an inventory of Dockum Aquifer water wells § Review data from drillers’ well logs and enter in database § Identify existing wells suitable for water level measurements and water quality testing § Develop an annual water level observation program § Implement a water quality observation program for Dockum water wells § Partner with USGS for geophysical logging § Review latest groundwater availability model and evaluate structure and surfaces § Conduct literature review of Dockum Aquifer publications § Perform gap analysis to determine suitable areas for test well sites § Analyze data at year end and determine additional needs § Consider pilot program to drill test wells in areas that have no Dockum well data March 6, 2020 | TWCA Annual ConventionTasks and Goals
