This document discusses the requirements of Republic Act 7279 regarding the development of socialized housing projects (SHPs) in subdivisions. It states that developers must allocate a portion of their total project area, usually 20%, to an SHP. They must also allocate 20% of the total project cost to developing the SHP. SHPs are intended for underprivileged and homeless families and have house and lot packages priced at 150,000 pesos or less. Projects with four units or less or a density of over 100 units per hectare are also covered. Examples are given to illustrate how to determine if a project qualifies for these requirements.
