For Northwest Airlines and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
Requested by senior management to accept appointment in Mexico for
Northwest and KLM senior commercial position generating $50M in annual
revenue. Integrated Sales, Reservations and the Ticket Office with Delta
Air Lines in 2009.
• Increased corporate revenue 16% through improving non-cash service
recovery programs for premium passengers, reallocating staff to premium
sales channels, and introducing employee incentives.
• Enhanced market share from 3% to 18% by negotiating competitive
pricing and building strong account relationships with key German account
in Mexico.
• Improved agency revenue over 20% and cut costs 4% by reducing travel
agency portfolio and transforming reservations department into a pro-active
center for top agency support including outbound service.
• Received the 2006 Re-Engineering Award at the International Sales
Conference for initiating the reorganization of Sales and Reservations.
