This department is related to marketing. In this, seller and client directly

proposal department. They make technical proposal according to bid.
Bid is use for amount of project.
3.4.3. Design Boiler:
After the approval of proposal from upper division, design engineer
make the design of boiler according to the requirement which is sent by
client, and then the completed design check by client for approval.
3.4.4. Project Process:
This department forward the projects after all approvals from engineers
and clients and signatures from heads of DESCON Engineering.
Request for Quotation (RFQ) codes given by Headquarter to clients
then process department easily collect code from SAP Network and
send to design department for further process.
3.4.5. Finance Department:
Finance department collect the financial report from headquarter for
Auditing. Their duty is to check the errors in the report regarding
reconciliation between company and client ledger. If they find any error

then they reconcile the entry and send back to headquarter for

machines and check and balance of the work on daily basis and record
it. They work on their four levels process in which they control the work
and plan the suitable man hours on a single project so that, so many

Commercial Domain also called supply chain department. Their duty is
to manage the supply and make the purchase requisition statement
and purchase order statements. After they make the comparative
statement for check the best vendor in the market or which vendor is
best for their project. They manage the supply from local and imported
both vendors. They record the salary and other expense done in the
company in SAP of labors per hour. They give if possible minimum 5%

organization, they also record the data of labor for their wages and

 Getting approval of CS as per financial Limits Issuance of Purchase Order
(PO) as per approved CS
 Monitor Vendor advances & payments and ensure their settlement as per
agreed time lines.
 Regularly update, check & complete list of advances credited to vendors so
that credited amount /advances can be adjusted within week time.
4.4. Summary of Learning:
My time in Descon was amazing at here I was able to actually understand the life in
a corporate and that how things work in such a company. All the employees were
very helpful and was eager to tell us always. It was an internship which taught me a
lot more things from technical stuff to management.
A best organization to enhance abilities. Working with different peoples with different
state of mind is the way of enhancing strength and work ability. While working here
at Descon I got some answers concerning the corporate culture and about its
condition. I got some answers concerning the enlistment frames and learned
corporate tongue.
Descon have a Strong culture, which is the result of combined efforts of the whole
management team.
Attention to detail is of paramount importance, for example, while designing, if one
forgets even a minute detail, this simple error could cause the design to be
unsuccessful and cause failure.

The company is Outcome oriented but the degree varies with the level of employees.
The junior employees must exhibit efforts as well as deliver outputs. The senior
employees must produce the result while it is not necessary for them to contribute
their efforts. The time to reach the results is also important. This factor varies
according to the different situations.
Every project is performed on Team basis. Teams are defined according to
departments. The company displays Aggressiveness which shows that employees
are more competitive than cooperative. Individual desires reign over the company’s
goals attainment. Every employee wants to get promotion. The company is trying to
