 The project will be implemented with the support of
the Stakeholders in collaboration with the Global Oral
Health Foundation Society.
BASIC DENTAL TREATMENT PROCEDURES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE
NGO IN THE RURAL DENTAL CENTERS:
 Filling of teeth ( Temporary & Permanent )
 Extraction of Teeth
 Scaling & Curettage of teeth.
 Complete Denture Set
 Partial Dentures
 Bleaching of teeth
 Topical application of Fluorides
 To undertake IOPA X-rays
 Preventive Dental Check-up and School Screening
 Removable Orthodontic Appliance & Bite Guard
 Composite Filling ( laser filling) for aesthetics.
 Root Canal Treatment
 Ceramic Crown & Crown and Bridge Prosthesis.
BILLING CHARGES OF DENTAL TREATMENT AT THE RURAL DENTAL
CENTER
1. FOR BPL ( Below Poverty Line) Patients : Dental
Treatments & Medicines will be subsidized.
2. For the Middle Class people of the rural areas : Dental
Treatment & Medicines will be provided on a cost to cost
basis.
3. For the Affluent section of people living in the rural areas
: Dental Treatment & Medicines will be provided at a
Reasonable cost.
WORKING OF THE OPERATIONAL COST OF THE DENTAL
CENTER p.m.
 Nominal Dental Check up fees divided in 3 Categories[BPL, Middle Class &
Affluent Section]
 Sale of Medicines ( Antibiotics and Analgesics) on cost to cost basis. Use of
Generic Medicines will be preferred.
 Sale of Oral Health Products like toothpastes, toothbrushes , mouth rinses on
cost to cost basis
 Nominal Dental treatment charges to the Rural Middle Class.
 Reasonable Dental Charges from the Affluent section of people living in the
rural areas

 Contributions from Non-Resident Indians and
Philanthropic Individuals.
