Effective presentations must contain these elements:
All of these elements can be achieved through 4 strategic focuses…

Without giving your presentation a specific purpose,
you’ll never know if you hit the mark.
Develop Objective
What do you want to accomplish by your presentation?
Presentation objectives fall into four main categories:
• to report information
• to explain instructions
• to persuade the audience
• to motivate to take action

Develop Strategy
To develop your strategy, answer these three questions:
1. What are you selling? – know your purpose
2. To whom are you selling? – know your audience
3. Against what are you competing? – know the environment

Organize
•Great presenters FAIL without properly organizing the presentation
• General presentation layout follows three phases: intro body conclusion
• Rule of thumb: lead with the main and most important points
• Plan the presentation long enough yet concise enough to accomplish objective
© Dominique Jones – Talent Strategist
Delivery
• Establish rapport with audience @ beginning of presentation
• Everything will be judged – walk, posture, facial expressions, hand movements, clothing
• Audiences are most receptive to a relaxed style and variety in voice & movements
• Use visual aids ONLY when needed to enhance a point

What you have to present matters.
How you present it matters.
Because YOU matter.
