2. Delhi the phenomena
On December 12, 1911 the British moved from
Calcutta into the city of Delhi, declaring it as
the Capital. Ever since, the Delhi we know has
constantly garbed new roles. From being Dilwalon
ki Dilli, to a Heartless city, from being the
haven of leaders to being the companion of the
homeless, the city has had in store, something
for everyone. This year, as Delhi turns 100, we
present to you Delhi@100- an initiative by NIEV,
Let’s celebrate the magnanimity of this dynamic
city. Its time to write, click, type share, tag,
eat, shop and bring to life the experiences and
beliefs Delhi has played a catalyst in reviving
our spirit..

It is rightly said “dilli walon ko toh bahana chaiye!”
Well this statement drives the opportunity we get to unite
people to the spirit of Delhi. Over some years many people
believe that Delhi has lost its identity and that's
exactlly what we want to revive.
let every Delhi’te- bonafide or migrant celebrate the joy
of belonging to the city.

4. flow of the event
As a tribute to our rajdhani on 12th December, we
plan to activate a series online and offline event
Across various communication channels. The purpose is
clear and the theme is simple - to commemorate 100
years of Delhi. These events start from 5th December
and end with a big community event on 12th December
the. Hence making it a week long festival and a major
event to conclude it.
