▪ Personal protective equipment is mandatory
for employees to protect themselves against
occupational risks. This equipment should be
constantly checked and properly maintained.

All personnel entering the operational area must
equipment themselves with the following safety
gears:
▪Safety helmet with chin strap properly
tightened.
▪ Safety boots or safety shoes with foot
guards.
▪ Safety belt.

▪ Safety belts must be worn when working
stationary at heights above 3 meters from
ground level.
▪ When expose to occupational /industrial health
hazards, proper type of PPE such as:
▪ Safety helmet ; Glasses
▪ Goggles ; Gloves
▪ Dust mask ; Face shield
▪ Respirator and
▪ Ear Plugs

Used by the personal working in industries as
protective measures against injury ( both fatal
and non-fatal). The ideal personal protective
equipment and clothing are those , which are
• safe ,
• convenient to users ( i.e. light, easy to wear
etc),
• economical, durable ,
• free from discomfort when in use and
• easy to clean.
