A young deer was hit by a car and died by the side of the road. Over the next week, turkey buzzards and other scavengers fed on the deer's remains, gradually stripping away the flesh and organs until after a week there was little left but bones. The document graphically describes the decomposition process as nature takes its course on the deer's body.
