4. Ahhh… the usual, casual Sunday morning. “ C’mon Dean, let’s play tag!” My brother and sister were calling me. I dashed With them through the hall out of my parents room. Then we ran back into my parent’s room. I jumped On my mattress happily.
5. I wasn’t so happy when my head hit The corner of the window. I started to bleed everywhere . My parents, shocked, rushed me to the hospital. I went straight to the emergency room. Right away doctors wrapped me in a sheet. They did this to hold me down (they could’ve hurt me if I had a scared reaction). Before they wrapped me, my mother was asked to leave the room.
6. My mother, scared as can be waited half an hour, anxious , impatient , worried and shocked . She said a prayer so I’d be fine. She waited.
7. My dad was with me during the procedure. I was as sad as ever, crying and screaming. Four nurses were holding me as the doctor gave stitches. A doctor came out of the room. “You may see your son,” he said to my mother.
8. As my mother walked in, she saw me sitting down on a bed. I had a patch over my eye. Before she walked in, the doctor explained that I had no damage done to my eye, and that he’d given me three or four stitches. My mother was overjoyed when she saw me. She picked me up, gave me a thousand kisses, and thanked God for this miracle.
