2. Odată s-a întâlnit cucul cu un mierloi scăpat din colivie.
El a întrebat ce zice lumea de cântecele lor.
Mierloiul a spus că se
vorbeşte numai de bine:
pe privighetoare o laudă
toată lumea, pe ciocârlie
cam pe jumătate, iar de
mierle se vorbeşte de
bine mai rar, din când în
când...De cuc, însă, n-a
auzit pe nimeni vorbind.
3. Cucul s-a înfuriat ş i s-a hot ă rât s ă le
spun ă el tuturor cine este.
De atunci cânt ă din r ă sputeri: “Cu-cu, cu-
cu, cu-cu!”
