The DC chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) announced their general meeting for June 17, 2010. The meeting topic will be "Successful Retention Strategies to keep a Talented Workforce" and the speaker will be Douglas Greene, Manager of Talent Acquisition and Retention at the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Greene will discuss his experiences with retention best practices and strategies. His responsibilities include developing innovative retention strategies and recruiting for the Postal Service. The meeting will be held from 5:30-8:00 pm at Littler Mendelson, PC in Washington D.C. and is free for members and $20 for non-members.

After boot camp and hospital corpsman training at Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill., he served in California, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, and Okinawa.
