This document discusses the three main modes of data transmission: simplex, half duplex, and full duplex. Simplex mode allows data transfer in only one direction, either sending or receiving. Half duplex mode allows bi-directional communication but only one direction at a time. Full duplex mode enables bi-directional data transmission simultaneously in both directions.

2.  DATA TRANSMISSION MODES
Transmission mode means transferring data between two
devices. It is also known as a communication mode
there are three types of data transmission
SIMPLEX
MODE
FULL
DUPLEX
HALF
DUPLEX

3. 1 simplex mode
A device can send the data but cannot receive it or
it can receive the data but cannot send the data.

4. 2 half duplex mode
Half duplex mode is bi directional
communication but one at a time.

5. 3 Full-duplex mode
data transmission means that data can be
transmitted in both directions at the same
time.
