The people of Darfur are suffering greatly due to lack of access to basic necessities. They have little food or water, causing many to become thin and malnourished or die. Many have also lost family and friends to violence and conflict. Additionally, the people of Darfur lack adequate shelter, education, and healthcare. As a result of the poverty, children do not regularly attend school and the medical care is insufficient, leading to preventable sickness and death.

2. They Need WaterPeople in Darfur do not have water and they need it very much to keep alive. Many people there die because they do not have enough water to drink.

3. They Need FoodAll people in Darfur have very little food. Some of them may just drink a little bit of water for the whole day because they do not have enough food. This is why the majority of them are very skinny and thin.

4. They Need Families and FriendsPeople in Darfur had lost so many members in their families or friends. This is all because of the killing that is happening and death of people with no water, food, shelter, etc. People in Darfur need their families and friends to support them rather than keeping them lonely.

5. They Need ShelterIn Darfur people live in very small tents suffering from the hot weather in the summer and the very cold weather in the winter. Some people even do not have these tents and what they only have is a blanket. People there are dying because they do not have shelter.

6. They Need EducationChildren in Darfur are not getting educated well. This is because there are no big official schools. Their schools are small tents and they write on the sand using their fingers. Also, most of the people do not go to school because they cannot afford it so, they get educated by their parents at home.

7. They Need HealthcarePeople in Darfur have very bad medical care. A lot of people get sick and die because they do not have good medical or health care to take care of them and make them cured. This is because of the poverty.
