The Cottage Company worked with Triad Solutions on a sustainable "pocket neighborhood" housing project in Kirkland, Washington from 2002 to 2005. Triad provided project management, civil engineering, survey, and landscape architecture services to help incorporate green building techniques like low-impact stormwater management using gardens and courtyards as well as landscaped walkways. For their landscape design work on the project, Triad's team won a 2008 award for residential design.
