This document discusses the differences between DevOps practices in private industry and security practices in government. It notes that private companies can deploy code over 10,000 times per day, whereas government processes involve multiple standardized steps for categorizing, selecting, implementing, assessing, authorizing, and monitoring controls. The document proposes two initiatives - standardizing controls and configuration baselines across the government, and automating assessments using the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP). It provides information on engaging with the OpenSCAP community and learning more about SCAP.
This document provides tips and strategies for using technology in litigation, including:

The document summarizes the political crisis in Spain from 1902-1923. Key issues included the failure of the two-party rotating political system, colonial rebellion in Morocco, and growing workers movements represented by groups like the PSOE, UGT, and CNT. Important figures included Jose Canalejas, a liberal reformer who was assassinated in 1912, and Antonio Maura, a conservative leader. World War 1 divided Spain but also brought some economic benefits and inflation. After the war, 15 governments were formed in 4 years as anarchist, industrialist and rural unrest grew amid political polarization.

This document discusses various surface coating methods used to improve wear and corrosion resistance of materials. It provides details on several coating techniques including thermal spraying methods like flame spraying, plasma spraying and HVOF. The key points are:
1) Different coating methods like thermal spraying, vapor deposition, mechanical cladding are used to improve surface properties.
2) Thermal spraying techniques like flame spraying, plasma spraying and HVOF are described in detail along with the coating materials, temperatures involved and applications.
3) Characteristics of different coatings like hardness, porosity and adhesion strength obtained from various spraying methods are summarized in tables for comparison.

The hierarchical structure of these established companies assumes high coordination cost due to human activity. But when the coordination cost drops
The organisational structure that companies in the 20th century established was based on the fact that employees needed to do all the work. The coordination cost was high due to the effort and cost of employees, housing etc. Now we have software that can do this for use and the coordination cost drops to close-to-zero. Another thing is that things become free. Consider Flickr. Anybody can sign up and use the service for free. Only a fraction of the users get pro account and pay. How can Flickr make money on that? It turns out that services like this can.
Many businesses make money by giving things away. How can that possibly work? The music business has suffered severely with digital distribution of content. Should musicians put all there songs on YouTube? What is the future business model for music?
