Out of over 50 entries, Mr. Vaghasia's design best expressed femininity using Dalumi's yellow diamonds as inspiration. His winning design features yellow diamonds contrasted with white diamonds in a contemporary yet classic style. Dalumi was pleased with the global response to the competition and looks to support new design talent.

Vishal Kanubhai Vaghasia wins the prize for
Innovative Concept
JCK Las Vegas, May 30th - The Dalumi Group is proud to announce that Mr. Vishal
Kanubhai Vaghasia is the winner of its first annual “When The Source Turns Into
Inspiration” jewelry design competition.
Contestants were invited to create a themed collection or a single piece expressing
feminine allure, using Dalumi's spectacular flagship "Yellow-Shade Diamonds" as
inspiration. Dalumi intends to use Mr. Vishal Kanubhai Vaghasia’s design as the basis
for a new collection.

The winning design makes Dalumi’s yellow shade diamonds the
focal point, by contrasting them with white diamonds mounted
on gold.

designer, Mr. Vishal Kanubhai Vaghasia.

Competition judging committee included Mr. Alan Woolff, VP Merchandising at ICE.com,
Mrs. Hedda Schupak, Editor in Chief of JCK and Mrs. Vered Dalumi Itzchaki, Managing
Director of Dalumi.
Dalumi was delighted with the response to the competition that attracted more then 50
young designers from all over the world within the two-month call prior to the May 20th
deadline. A very successful initiative always oriented to new and inspired talents.
