David Alger has over 10 years of experience teaching English Language Arts to middle and high school students in New York. He is certified to teach grades 5-12. Currently, he teaches 7th and 8th grade ELA at South Bronx Academy, where he developed Common Core aligned curricula and assessments. Previously, he taught at several high schools and an intermediate school in New York, taking on additional roles such as assistant dean of students and newspaper coordinator. He holds an MA in Teaching from Manhattanville College and a BA in English Literature from Curry College.
