Most sectoral indices ended in the red, with losses led by the defense and midcap indices.

Indian market extended losses in afternoon trade on account of profit booking, weighed
down by metals, FMCG, technology, healthcare, capital goods.ACC cement down by 2%
as the company is going to pay 1% royalty for technology transfer & ITC plunged 3.5.%
