Share prices on Bursa Malaysia closed higher today,
lifted by gains on selected heavyweight
counters,the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI
(FBM KLCI) was 2.72 points better at 1,871.36, after
moving between 1,868.03 and 1,874 throughout
the yesterday.
Share prices on Bursa Malaysia remained mixed at
mid-afternoon today, on cautious trading, amid
positive regional sentiment, the benchmark FTSE
Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was 1.7 points
better at 1,870.34.Losers led gainers by 424 to 369
with 328 counters unchanged, 513 untraded and 21
others suspended.
Maxis Bhd returned to positive growth of 0.6 per
cent in its service revenue to RM2.05 billion for its
second quarter ended June 30 against RM20.4
billion posted on the first quarter (Q1) 2014.The
company attributed mobile data as the main growth
driver, with mobil Internet/value added services
revenue growing 8.0 per cent from the previous
quarter,
