A man found an unconventional way to pray by imagining God sitting in an empty chair next to his bed. He shared this with a priest who came to pray with him. Though his daughter did not know of this practice, it brought the man peace, as evidenced by him resting his head on the empty chair before passing away. The priest saw this as an ideal way for all people to depart this world.
