This study analyzes Gabonese students' perceptions of evaluation methods for the baccalaureate exam, revealing mixed feelings about the effectiveness of written versus oral assessments. While students showed a preference for oral evaluations in the second round, citing lower stress levels, they also noted challenges due to inadequate preparation. Overall, the Gabonese baccalaureate is viewed as fulfilling essential criteria of reliability and fidelity in evaluation, although the quality of education in Gabon remains a concern.
