Don Miguel de Mañara was a nobleman in Seville who lived a libertine lifestyle until finding religion and dedicating his life to helping the poor. The legend of his redemption grew until a writer turned it into the story of Don Juan Tenorio, a libertine who defies religion and law. In the story, Don Juan bets he can seduce two women, a novice nun and a lady engaged to his rival, within six days. Through deception and tricks, he succeeds but faces challenges from religious figures and his rival seeking revenge. In the end, ghosts of his victims appear and Don Juan faces divine punishment for his sins unless he repents.
