Cyber-bullying involves bullying that occurs through digital devices and online means. More than 70% of teenagers surveyed had experienced cyber-bullying at least once via email or text message, most often in the form of harassment. While some teens see cyber-bullying as annoying or funny, it can have serious psychological consequences like depression, anger, and in some cases, suicide. The survey results from the document showed that over half of respondents had been bullied before, but 20 fewer had experienced cyber-bullying specifically. Opinions were mixed on whether cyber-bullying constitutes a serious crime.
