 Carry out a review and execution of Rigging Plans & Method Statements, Risk
Assessment and Job Safety Analysis plan.
 Selection of Crane for each lift with proper Safety Factor.
 Carry out inspection of all lifting tackles.
 Lifting hazard identification and control.
 Ensure competent persons for lifting & slinging activities.
 Daily inspection of Crane and lifting equipments.
 Provide safety advice and guidance to line management.
 Monitor the lifting operations to ensure that they are being carried out in
accordance with approved Rigging Study, established Work Method
Statement, Risk and Job Safety Analysis.
 Frequent contact with Site Team Leaders and Supervisors in exchanging
information and suggestions related to the developing and maintaining lifting
equipment inspection, maintenance and operating systems.
 Works in line with Company HSE Policy, ensures subordinates are aware of,
and comply with HSE procedures, rules and regulations for Rigging / Lifting
activities.
