PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Head of MVNO Financial Analyst, Celcom Axiata Berhad (2010 – Present)
• In charge of all financial aspects of Celcom’s MVNO partners namely
Merchantrade, Tune Talk, XOX, Redtone, Smart Pinoy and Altel. Total MVNO
business had grown from RM156mil in Year 2010 to RM930mil in Year 2015.
And, it has been set to carry a budget of RM1billion for Year 2016.

2. • Spearheaded the design and development of a full set Financial Analysis
Modeling of a RM9mil joint venture project between Celcom Axiata Bhd and
PLDT, a leading telecommunication service provider in Philippines, for the
establishment of new MVNO in Malaysia to target the Philippino foreign workers.
• Successfully designed and developed a new MVNO Settlement/Billing Model,
with 99.99% accuracy and improved efficiency in terms of meeting SLA deadlines
from 10 days to 3 days.
• Successfully identified several cost saving measures including re-classification of
MVNO’s CMP data that resulted in a monthly savings of RM600k to Celcom. Also
designed a new settlement mechanism that resulted in a monthly tax savings of
RM150k.
• Successfully identified undercharge of service tax claimable from MVNO partner
that otherwise would trigger in a monthly loss of RM260k to Celcom.
• Successfully transformed the MVNO Financial Analysis Department into a focal
point for all MVNO financial related matters, which was previously handled by the
Finance Division. This transformation enabled speedier decision-making on
MVNO financial related matters.
• Conducted quantitative analysis on customer profile and behavior to assist in
strategic business decisions.
• Analyzed MVNO’s and Celcom’s performance to identify opportunities to
maximize profit.
• Regularly update the MVNO Commercial Team with performance and forecast
numbers to help the team strategize their action plans.
Financial Analyst, Celcom Axiata Berhad (2000 – 2010)
• Successfully designed and developed new Financial Modeling for new product
development or new marketing programs, which incorporated customer behavior,
usage pattern / trend as a new set of variables. This model had been agreed and
approved by Head of Department and Head of Division to replace the old model
which only driven by call charges.
• Successfully assisted in the development of the EIP, a financial information portal
that automated most of the high level financial reports required by Management.
• Prepared monthly performance review report and analysis on selected high
profile marketing programs.
Finance & Admin Executive, Denlite Letrik Sdn Bhd (1998 – 2000)
• Prepared monthly balance sheet, income statements and cash flow.
• Maintained general ledger, proposed monthly payments on Account Payables,
and chased payments from Account Receivables.
