train Polish staff on the utilization of the Material Handling Tool (MTA) as the contract on the said project is

 Ghannouch Project of 420MW consisting of One GT26 Gas Turbine, One Steam Turbine and One HRSG all

 Two plants one 450 MW consisting of two GT13E2 gas turbines, two CMI HRSG’s one Steam turbine ,

 Second one was a 150MW of one GT13E2 gas turbine, one CMI HRSG. This plant had a complex piping as
the steam was used as a backup for 6 existing HRSG’s and also for desalination process steam.

 Due to a default by the client the project was closed. Was involved in the preservation of all erected
equipment for a period of 7 months, until the materials were officially transferred to the client.

 Combined cycle power plant. Total 350MW.
 Client STEG (Tunisian Electricity and Gas Corporation).
January 1992 to August 1993 Alsthom Export Kawas, India
 Materials purchases and shipping agent coordinator for NTPC’s 660MW combined cycle power plant.
Responsibility:
 Replenishment through local purchases or through Europe
 Coordination of all incoming shipment at the port and their transportation to site with the shipping agent.
 Insurance claims for all equipment received damaged or damages sustained during erection process.
 Preparation and handing over of contractual spares.

 Worked as an assistant to the Administration Manager, and later as an assistant Warehouse Manager at the
projects central warehouse, for the 1700Kms HBJ Gas Pipeline for Gas Authority of India.
 Material handled was pipes, fittings, telecom equipment (VHF/UHF Antennas-Omniplexers/Multiplexers-
Telecom tower structures), Scada equipment, earth station equipment, cathodic protection equipment, and test
equipment, VAX 780 mainframes spares.
 Was responsible for: -
1- General running of a large-scale warehouse.
2- Receipt of materials from ports/Airports.
3- Inventory, repacking and dispatching to different site location.
4- Inland transportation with local transporters.
5- Sale of vehicles and other construction equipment purchased locally.
6- Container stuffing and inventorying of temporary import of construction equipment.
7- Vehicles maintenance with a team of mechanics including purchases and stocking all spares.
8- Mandatory spares and test equipment segregation and dispatching to all the storage sites designated by
the client along the pipeline.

 Was responsible for the feasibility study for setting up of a manufacturing facility for disposable syringes or
automotive polymer parts. This required contacting different organizations spanning the complete value chain
for the two products.
 Was involved in the preparation of the project report for getting financial assistance from Gujarat State
Finance Corporation for the manufacturing of disposable syringes, which was the product chosen by the
company for manufacturing.
